This summer, late summer, we'll be transitioning Hope into her big girl bed so the crib will be available for baby #2 this September. In preparation for the transition we recently purchased a video monitor (idea courtesy of Meg Wallace) so I'll be able to monitor whether or not she's staying in her bed. That being said, we began using it the moment it arrived and it's been fun to see what Hope does in her crib if she doesn't fall asleep right away.
The other day I was napping and Alex came in with a grin on his face..."She's doing hand stands in her crib".
"What?"
"Yeah, the thud we were always curious about...it's Hope...she walks her legs up one side of the crib, balances on her head, then drops back down to her knees..."
Hand stands. Who would have thought?
