The trip back to Albuquerque was nice but a bit too quick for all the visiting that needed to be done...we did however manage to see nearly everyone that we'd planned on seeing so three cheers for that! A bonus was meeting little Kai...the latest addition to the Wallace family. Such a mellow little guy. Hope's dedication was Sunday, Dave Eustis dedicated her, and then we celebrated Mother's Day at a lovely brunch my mom put together.Yesterday a realtor friend of ours called Alex to tell him they would like to list, market, and get our house sold for a 1% (instead of 3%) listing fee! Our open houses have consisted of lots of nibbles but not one bite so this is just fabulous news! This is the same couple who sold us the house and they are great at what they do so it shouldn't be long and someone else will be calling 7711 Pioneer Trail home. Sad to leave it behind and excited to get into a home up here...right now it just feels a bit like an extended vacation.
"But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from {the} Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which {comes} from God on the basis of faith, that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead." ~Philippians 3:7-11
